Pressure gauges from WIKA – market leader since 1946

Our pressure gauges (mechanical pressure measuring instruments) for gauge, absolute and differential pressure have been proven millions of times over. For the optimal solution for the widest range of applications, there is a choice of measuring systems in Bourdon tube, diaphragm element and capsule element technologies. The pressure gauges cover scale ranges from 0 … 0.5 mbar to 0 … 6,000 bar and indication accuracies of up to 0.1 %. For the various requirements in industrial and process instrumentation there are pressure elements from copper alloys, stainless steel or special materials.

FAQ

Why must the differential pressure in model 7 differential pressure gauges with bourdon tubes not be allowed to be less than 1/6 of the full scale value?

For model 7 differential pressure gauges, the static pressure is the same as the full scale value over 270 degrees of rotation. With an expected differential pressure of 15 psi (1 bar) at a static pressure of 145 psi (10 bar), the two hands would only be separated ... More

What is the difference between a standard pressure gauge and a safety pattern version?

A safety version (code S3 per EN837) has an additional solid baffle wall welded between the dial and the measuring system. In addition, the case has a back wall that can blow out completely. The window is typically made of laminated safety glass. If a pressure buil ... More
